These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GeoIcons website at https://geoicons.io (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. Questions: support@geoicons.io.

1. The icon library is licensed separately

These Terms cover the website. The GeoIcons icon library itself is licensed under GPLv3 (free, copyleft) or a commercial license. Your use of the icons is governed by that license. See the Commercial License and the GPLv3 LICENSE shipped with the package, not by these Terms.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
  • disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or its systems;
  • scrape or harvest the Site in a way that burdens our infrastructure or circumvents intended access; or
  • misrepresent your affiliation with GeoIcons.

3. Intellectual property

The Site's design, text, branding, and the GeoIcons name and logo are owned by GeoIcons. Nothing here grants you rights to them beyond ordinary viewing of the Site. The icons are provided under their own license (§1).

4. Purchases

License purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, acting as Merchant of Record. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's terms and to the applicable Commercial License. Prices and tiers may change; the terms in effect at the time of your purchase apply to that purchase.

5. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to or rely on third-party services (e.g. GitHub, npm, Lemon Squeezy). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or availability of those third parties.

6. Disclaimer

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GEOICONS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which GeoIcons is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with its "Last updated" date; continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
